Orizzonte. Opera dedicata a …
Alberto Garutti, 2016

Garutti first presented the Orizzonti (Horizons) series in 1990 at the Venice Biennale, in a solo room of the Italian Pavilion.
Each Horizon is dedicated to a collector, to those who bought, supported, and loved his work.
Every piece continues the next, forming one long open line, spread across different homes, in distant cities.
The Horizons are a single thread connecting Garutti to his audience.
An emotional art that lives through the relationships and connections constantly present in the artist’s life.
The artwork was created with white and black enamel on a sheet of glass, and the frame is made of iron.
